Congressional-Executive Commission on China "Media Advisory"
The Congressional-Executive Commission on China will hold an Open Forum on March 4, 2002 to give individuals, religious groups, human rights organizations and other interested parties an opportunity to address the Commission on issues related to human rights and rule of law in China. The Commission's senior staff will chair the forum. One representative will be allowed for each organization, and statements will be restricted to five minutes each.

The Congressional-Executive Commission on China was established in 2000. It is made up of nine Senators, nine House members and five Presidential appointees. The Commission's mandate is to monitor human rights and track the development of rule of law in China.
